I am a founding partner, senior consultant and director at Eight Masts. Having run my own consultancy for over 10 years, providing advice and interim skills to the not-for-profit space, I have focussed more recently on gaining Board level commercial, trading, digital and marketing experience in businesses turning over in excess of £50m. This has been a purposeful step to create a blend of commercial and not-for-profit skills so that I can offer sector-specific advice, but with a commercial lens and valuable business acumen.
My experience covers headships, project management and programme delivery specialising in technical IS and digital roles. I typically work with cross-functional work-streams to deliver tangible organisational benefits using web, eCommerce and digital technologies.
Previous work has included interim head of digital for the National Trust, head of digital for the UK’s leading education supplies provider (+£25m online turnover), strategic counsel for other charities, programme and project management roles for local authorities, Fire Service, Research Councils, businesses of all sizes and charities. Practising what I preach, I also run my own eCommerce business.
Helping overcome technical delivery challenges, providing clarity, appropriate governance and improved process to achieve real benefits to organisations that have a philanthropic mission is what really motivates me.
